Description
Discover the essential attractions of Edmonton in an enjoyable manner on this electric scooter adventure, where you will explore its green spaces and notable sites. Excitement awaits!
Tour Highlights
The journey begins at Edmonton City Centre, where we will provide a brief orientation before distributing your electric scooters, and then we’ll embark on our ride around Edmonton. Let’s get started!
Our first stop will be in front of the Alberta Legislature Building, a significant political emblem of the province. This neoclassical structure, opened in 1912, serves as the home to the provincial government and is surrounded by exquisite gardens, steeped in tales of how oil transformed the region’s fate.
We’ll then glide across the High Level Bridge, an engineering marvel that links the city’s northern and southern parts. From this vantage point, the verdant valley of the North Saskatchewan River will come into view. Did you know it is one of the largest urban park systems in all of North America?
We will proceed toward the University of Alberta, where tradition harmonizes with contemporary architecture throughout its campus. The atmosphere shifts as we proceed to Old Strathcona, historically a railway hub and now one of the city’s creative hubs.
Next, we will explore the tranquil Mill Creek Ravine Park, showcasing the city’s harmonious relationship with natural landscapes. Suddenly, the glass pyramids of the Muttart Conservatory will emerge, resembling a mirage. Each of these structures showcases a different global climate!
We'll take a deserved pause at the Muttart Conservatory, a testament to the contributions of the Chinese community in Edmonton, before heading to Sir Winston Churchill Square, known for its festivals, concerts, and major events. Finally, we’ll arrive at the ICE District, where sports, music, and modern architecture characterize present-day Edmonton.
As our 2-hour journey concludes, we will return to the starting point, concluding our adventure with farewells.
