Your adventure kicks off with a hotel pickup in El Calafate at the scheduled time, setting the stage for a memorable trek through the Argentinean Patagonia. Are you prepared for an incredible hike at El Chaltén? Let’s embark!

After a scenic bus journey lasting about 3 hours along the famous Ruta 40, you will have the chance to enjoy views of landmarks like the impressive Lago Argentino and La Leona, where we'll take a brief break before arriving at our goal: El Chaltén.

Upon reaching our destination, the hiking tour to the Mirador del Torre begins. This path meanders alongside the Fitzroy River leading to an extraordinary viewpoint, placing you in one of the most iconic locations within Los Glaciares National Park!

Throughout this approximately 3.72-mile (6-kilometer) trek, prepare to traverse a valley celebrated for its unique charm, passing through the gorge of the Fitzroy River where the Margarita viewpoint awaits. Once at the top, you will be greeted with panoramic views of Cerro Solo, Cordón Adela, Cerro Torre, and Fitz Roy. Remember to capture this moment in photos!

To recharge, we will partake in a delightful picnic-style lunch, featuring a ham and cheese sandwich, a mini cake, salad, fresh fruit, and homemade pudding. Post-lunch, we’ll commence our descent back to the quaint village of El Chaltén.

Upon arrival in this charming alpine town, the bus will be ready to take you back to your hotel in El Calafate, where the day concludes approximately 13 hours later.
