Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in El Calafate at the designated time, leading you to the vast 17,000-hectare Estancia 25 de Mayo, nestled in the essence of Patagonia.

Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with mate, tortas fritas (fried pastries), and coffee. As you savor these snacks, the ranch personnel will share insights about the heritage, customs, and traditions associated with the Patagonian estancias.

The afternoon continues with a captivating sheep herding demonstration and a visit to the shearing shed. A brief walk leads us to the stunning Calafate stream viewpoint, where a tasting of lamb confit paired with mulled wine awaits.

Next, we’ll head to El Quincho, the ranch’s renowned restaurant specializing in grilled delicacies. Guests will be greeted with a drink as a video showcasing local families sets the stage for the evening.

The highlight of the night will be a traditional Argentinean dinner, featuring marinated eggplant and creole empanadas to start; grilled lamb with rustic potatoes, a medley of meats, and a selection of salads for the main course; followed by a choice of dessert, including apple or red fruit jam with ice cream or pancakes with dulce de leche.

The dinner experience will be enhanced by a folkloric performance by local artists, showcasing the diverse traditional dances of Argentina.

At the conclusion of the evening, you will be returned to your hotel in El Calafate.

• Pickup times: From September 1 to March 31, pickup will be at 5:30 PM, from April 1 to 30, at 4:30 PM, and from May 1 to August 31, the service will be unavailable.

Dinner and Show Only

For those who wish simply to enjoy the dinner and show, pickups will be arranged from your hotel in El Calafate, directly transporting you to El Quincho at Estancia 25 de Mayo. There you will partake in the welcome drink, experience the video presentation, enjoy the typical Argentinean dinner, and immerse yourself in the folkloric show.

Following the performance, the return to your hotel in El Calafate is scheduled for approximately 10:30 PM.

Afternoon at the Ranch

An unforgettable afternoon in the countryside is also available. We'll collect you from your hotel in El Calafate at the arranged time and head to Estancia 25 de Mayo. Upon arrival, enjoy a warm reception at the campfire with mate, fried cakes, and coffee as you partake in discussions about the local history, traditions, and life in Patagonia.

The experience includes a demonstration of sheep shearing and herding, complemented by dog assistance. A leisurely stroll along the Calafate stream trail reveals the region's flora before we reach its viewpoint for a tasting of confit lamb enhanced by local mountain wine.

Your adventure concludes with a visit to the organic vegetable garden and the earliest structures of the estancia, before we return to your hotel in El Calafate at around 8:15 PM.
