Aerial Adventure in Los Glaciares National Park

Imagine the stunning panoramic views of Los Glaciares National Park unfolding beneath you, all from a bird's perspective. At the scheduled time, we will gather at Comandante Armando Tola International Airport in El Calafate to embark on an exhilarating aircraft journey.

Once all preparations are complete, we will board the aircraft and ascend into the skies to explore the remarkable wilderness surrounding El Calafate. Our first glimpse will reveal this quaint town situated along the banks of Argentino Lake, which serves as the gateway to Los Glaciares National Park.

As we ascend, you will appreciate the majestic presence of Cerro Wilche and Cerro Calafate, towering peaks reaching over 4,921 feet (1,500 meters) high, framing the town with their stunning silhouettes. We will then navigate across the southern shores of Argentino Lake, leading us to the picturesque Bahía Redonda.

The flight path will take us along the Ruta Provincial 15, where we will pass notable landmarks such as Estancia Anita, Chorrillo Malo, Los Lagos, and Lago Roca, each significant to the region's cultural narrative. As we enter Los Glaciares National Park, you'll observe a dramatic transition from arid landscapes to lush Andean forests.

We'll gaze upon the stunning Roca and Rico lakes, the Valley del Río Mitre, Puerto Punto Bandera, and Cerro Castillo, a major landmark in the vicinity. To cap off our aerial exploration, we will glide past the renowned Perito Moreno Glacier, where you’ll have the opportunity to admire its magnificent ice formations from above!

Finally, we will make our descent back to El Calafate, flying over the origins of the Santa Cruz River before concluding our one-hour aerial experience.
