Activity Overview
Your experience starts with a convenient pickup from your accommodation in El Calafate, followed by a drive to La Soledad Port. Here, you'll board the VIP section of the ship and set sail through the stunning Los Glaciares National Park, culminating in a scenic hiking trail—a journey crafted for exploration and enjoyment!
From the exclusive vantage point of the premium cabin at the ship's upper deck, you’ll gain access to breathtaking views of Los Glaciares National Park. We will first halt at the Seco Glacier, which is gradually receding, providing a glimpse of ancient, eroded terrain. The voyage will then proceed to the majestic Heim and Spegazzini Glaciers, the latter being an impressive structure with a height of around 443 feet (135 meters).
Subsequently, we will make a stop at Puesto de Las Vacas, where you can embark on a 40 to 50-minute hiking route. During this hike, you will learn about the enchanting history of the area while relishing the stunning vistas typical of Argentine Patagonia.
Following the hiking segment, the cruise will continue towards the Upsala Glacier. From the ship’s deck, you'll marvel at this expansive ice formation and its awe-inspiring surroundings. It is notable for being the third-largest glacier in the southern hemisphere.
As you take in the scenery, you will partake in a gourmet dining experience in the premium cabin. To enhance your meal, enjoy an assortment of unlimited non-alcoholic beverages available throughout your journey.
Once your meal is complete, the cruise will proceed through the Canal de los Témpanos towards the north face of the Perito Moreno Glacier, offering a perfect conclusion to your scenic expedition.
After an extensive 10-hour journey filled with stunning landscapes, we will return you to your hotel in El Calafate.

The gourmet experience features both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and includes the following selections:
- Starter: brioche bread, trout pâté, and pickles
- Main Course 1: cream of humita (corn), olive focaccia, tomato pesto, and roasted garlic cream
- Main Course 2: suckling lamb accompanied by wholegrain mustard, smoked eggplant, figs, and garlic and carrot mayonnaise
- Dessert: apple and quince puff pastry, burnt caramel cream, yerba mate mousse, and white chocolate

Departure Point
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up at the indicated time at your hotel in El Calafate. Please be ready 10 to 15 minutes in advance.

Tickets Not Included
The entrance fee to Los Glaciares National Park is not included in the activity. These are the prices, which may vary depending on the season: 25000ARS for Argentine adults, 50000ARS for non-local adults, and free for children under 6 years old of any nationality, Argentine retirees, people with disabilities and one companion of any nationality.
On the day of the visit, you can buy the ticket at the park's ticket office, where payment must be made in cash in Argentine pesos.
If you wish, you may also buy the tickets in advance at https://ventaweb.apn.gob.ar/reserva/parques.
If you visit the National Park for a second day, you can buy the pass with a 50% discount for the second day.
Passport
On the day of the activity, the local supplier may request a physical passport from all participants in order to verify the age of minors, whose price on the tour is lower than that of adults.
Additional Info
- The captain of the boat may change the itinerary depending on weather and safety conditions.
- Since the weather changes rapidly in Patagonia, we recommend that you dress in several layers (thermal T-shirt, windbreaker sweatshirt or similar, parka or waterproof jacket).
- We also suggest trekking shoes, waterproof pants, gloves, hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
