Exploring the Glaciarium offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of the origins and significance of Patagonian glaciers. Within its two dedicated halls, you will discover a wealth of information about the ice formations of Patagonia. Engage your senses as you listen to the sounds of melting ice, view captivating photographs of glaciers taken by renowned photographers from Argentina and elsewhere, and interact with display screens detailing the impacts of climate change at locations such as the Upsala glacier.
Moreover, you will get the chance to soar over the glaciers in the Glaciarium cinema. The feature film lasts about two hours, and you are welcome to enjoy it for as long as you wish.
Your admission ticket comprises a transfer service from El Calafate to the Glaciarium, departing from the Secretaría de Turismo office, conveniently located at the Municipal Parking Lot on Calle Primero de Mayo (adjacent to Avenida del Libertador San Martín).
