Lago Argentino Cruise With an Overnight Stay on Board

Cruise Overview

Prepare to navigate through the immense icebergs of Los Glaciares National Park. Our adventure begins at La Soledad Port in Punta Bandera, situated just outside of El Calafate.

Our first destination will be Canal Upsala and the magnificent Glaciar Spegazzini, where we’ll pause to savor lunch while soaking in the sweeping vistas. This promises to be a remarkable experience!

Following lunch, we’ll head toward Bahía Las Vacas, where we’ll make a stop to visit the historical Las Vacas Outpost. We’ll also have the opportunity to hike to the mirador Spegazzini, which provides stunning views of the Spegazzini, Peineta, and Mayo glaciers.

Once back on board, enjoy a delightful dinner as we cruise towards Bahía Toro. Here, we will anchor in this picturesque spot of Lake Argentino, allowing you to spend the night in your cabin.

The following morning, after a nourishing breakfast, we’ll disembark for a hike along the shoreline and through the Patagonian forest, eventually reaching a scenic waterfall.

After this exploration, we will depart from Bahía Toro to navigate through the Canal de los Témpanos toward the renowned Perito Moreno Glacier. We’ll land in the Puerto Moreno area for a two-hour stroll across the viewing platforms, offering exceptional views of this ice marvel. Make sure to have your cameras ready!

Following our time at this natural spectacle, we’ll return to the cruise ship for lunch while passing the impressive northern face of the Perito Moreno.

Ultimately, we will arrive at La Soledad port by 4 pm, marking the conclusion of our cruise.

Accommodation & Meals

On board the Santa Cruz cruise ship, you will enjoy a night's stay in a Deluxe double cabin featuring an exterior view and a private bathroom. This cabin is suitable for two, with the option to include an extra bed for a child between 5 to 17 years old.

All cabins are situated at the bow and stern, adjacent to a communal area above the central lounge. The cruise ship and cabins are equipped with air conditioning, and you will have access to shared amenities throughout the voyage, including the library and lounge bar.

The package includes full board, which encompasses meals with alcoholic beverages, while non-alcoholic drinks and herbal teas are available throughout the journey.
