Activity Overview

Your journey begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel in Fernando de Noronha at the scheduled time. We will then travel to Vila do Trinta, the starting point of our hike through the viewpoints of Pedra Alta and Pontinha.

As we set out, our trail leads us along the coast of Mar de Fora, covering approximately 2.3 miles (3.7 km). Along the way, you will encounter various types of volcanic rock until we arrive at the stunning viewpoints.

Upon reaching these locations, take a moment to soak in the magnificent views of the Fernando de Noronha archipelago. The site boasts breathtaking natural beauty along with its unique geographical landscape, ensuring ample opportunities for capturing unforgettable photographs!

Our hike will also include visits to enchanting natural pools, where refreshing swims await, allowing you to explore the rich marine life that flourishes in the waters.

Concluding our remarkable trail at Caieira Beach, we will return to your hotel after a fulfilling 4-hour experience.

ICMBio Reservation Requirement

It is essential to secure a reservation with ICMBio (Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation) to take part in this activity. This reservation must be made in person at the entrance to the Fernando de Noronha Marine National Park, specifically at the ICMBio / TAMAR Visitor Center located in Vila do Boldró. The park is accessible daily from 4 pm to 7 pm, and online reservations are not permitted.

Important information

On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Fernando de Noronha at the indicated time, depending on the reservation you have made with ICMBio. We recommend being ready 10 minutes in advance at the hotel reception.

Important

To participate in this hiking tour you must make an appointment with ICMBio (Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation). This appointment must be made in person and exclusively by the visitor who already has an entrance ticket to Fernando de Noronha Marine National Park. The reservation cannot be made online.

This reservation does not guarantee the appointment slot.

We recommend booking your appointment as soon as you arrive on the island. Trails can be booked up to 6 days in advance and each visitor can book for a maximum of 6 people.

Additional information

On the day of the activity, you must bring snorkel gear and life jacket, and your entrance ticket to access the National Marine Park. In addition, you must bring closed-toed shoes, a swimsuit and clothes that protect you from the sun. The use of sunscreen is prohibited in the park.
