Activity Details

Would you like to appreciate the breathtaking views of Funchal from the sea? We'll commence our journey at Praça do Povo, where a boat awaits to explore the captivating spots along Madeira's southern shore.

As we depart from Funchal, the striking volcanic terrain of Madeira becomes visible. You'll encounter steep cliffs, unique rock structures, and lush green slopes, captivating you from the very beginning! We’ll also be on the lookout for marine life. It’s worth noting that spotting dolphins is quite frequent in the waters surrounding Madeira, while whale sightings can occur during specific seasons.

Our destination is Cabo Girão, a significant natural landmark on the island. This magnificent promontory reaches approximately 600 meters (1,969 feet), marking it as one of the tallest cliffs in Europe. Its almost vertical cliffs vividly showcase the island's volcanic roots.

If weather conditions are favorable, we will make a stop for swimming. Here, you'll have the chance to utilize the provided snorkeling gear to delve into the underwater world and refresh yourself in the Atlantic waters. Throughout the journey, the crew will capture photos, allowing you to take home cherished memories of your adventure.

Additionally, you can indulge in a variety of snacks on board, including cream pastries, apple turnovers, bacon sandwiches, olives with truffle cream cheese, cod fritters, honey biscuits, and gluten-free options. An open bar featuring alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available, offering soft drinks, cocktails, wine, beer, both still and sparkling water, tea, and coffee.

Ultimately, after a delightful 3-hour voyage, we will return to the starting point, concluding an unforgettable experience. We look forward to seeing you again!
