North Madeira Island Guided Tour

This tour will take you to explore Ponta Delgada, Arco de São Jorge, and São Vicente, three notable landmarks located in the northern region of Madeira.

North Madeira Island Tour

Your journey begins at 9 am, as we collect you from your hotel in Madeira to venture towards the island's northern frontier.

Our first destination will be the charming town of São Vicente, renowned for its impressive volcanic caves right at the Ribeira Grande's mouth.

Next, we will proceed to the lovely village of Ponta Delgada, where a visit to the Senhor Bom Jesus Church awaits, a site with roots tracing back to the 15th century. Following this, we’ll make our way to Arco de São Jorge, a serene rural locale, where you will enjoy two hours of leisure to have lunch.

Once we recharge, our route will lead us to Cabanas de São Jorge, where you can take in the breathtaking vistas of Madeira’s northern coastline. The exploration continues with a stop at a sugar mill located in Porto da Cruz, a traditional establishment operational since 1927.

We will also visit the Pico do Facho viewpoint, providing sweeping views of Machico and the Ponta de São Lourenço. Our final destination will be Santa Cruz, one of the island's oldest settlements.

At 5 pm, we will return you to your hotel in Madeira.
