Your adventure starts with a pickup from your accommodation in Guatemala City at 7 am, followed by a drive to Sololá, one of the prime tourist destinations in the region!

This charming municipality is among the rare locations in the Guatemalan highlands where you can still observe locals adorned in traditional attire, vibrant with colorful designs and intricate embroidery. Here, we will delve into the significant meanings behind these traditional garments.

After a brief exploration of the town, our next stop is the renowned Sololá market. Amidst numerous artisan stalls, we will get an insight into the daily life and trade that defines the town, strolling through its quaint streets! Following this, we will savor the flavors of Guatemala with a traditional lunch that features a starter, main dish, and dessert.

Nestled beside Lake Atitlán, Sololá is close to 12 Indigenous communities that trace their ancestry to the Quiché, Kaqchikel, and Tzutuhil groups. As we take in the breathtaking views of this natural jewel, we will immerse ourselves in the vibrant folklore of Guatemala.
