Experience the tranquil waters of Crete with an excursion to Dia Island, departing from Heraklion. This immersive journey will take you to Agios Georgios Bay and Panagia Cave, allowing you to discover the untouched beauty of Dia Island.
Dia Island Day Excursion
We will gather at Heraklion Port 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Once all participants are present, we will embark on a boat that will navigate the beautiful waters of Crete to reach Dia Island.
As we travel towards this secluded island, admire the scenic coastline views. Our initial stop will be at Agios Georgios Bay, which features archaeological remains dating back to the Minoan civilization.
You will have the opportunity to explore the region, take a refreshing swim, and even try your hand at snorkeling. Afterward, we will set sail for Panagia Cave. The stunning emerald waters of this bay provide an excellent chance to observe the underwater landscape from the comfort of our boat.
Lunch will be served on board, featuring a selection of delicious local dishes with vegetarian options available. As we savor our meal, we will continue to navigate the coastline of Dia Island, with insights shared by our crew about its fascinating features.
Our day will conclude with the return journey to Heraklion Port, wrapping up this memorable adventure approximately 7 hours after it began.
Pickup Information
Hotel pickup is included for accommodations located within a 10-kilometer (6.2 miles) radius of Heraklion. Should your hotel exceed this distance, please make your way to Heraklion Port.
The day before the trip, we will reach out to provide you with all necessary details regarding the pickup or meeting location.

If your accommodation is located outside of this radius, please meet us at Heraklion Port, specifically at Altersail, located in marina cafe, Iraklio 712 02, Greece. Please be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.
