Excursion to El Colorado Beach

On the designated morning of the tour, we will pick you up from your hotel in Hermosillo and embark on the journey to El Colorado Beach, a peaceful haven on the Gulf of California. The travel time will be approximately an hour and a half.

Upon our arrival, you'll quickly understand the meaning behind its name, with vistas displaying a distinct reddish hue. Our adventure begins with a two-hour trek to the summit of the renowned Cerro Colorado, where we will explore the area's charming caves and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding terrain.

Following the hike, you can either savor some leisure time or opt for an hour-long boat cruise across the Sea of Cortez, taking in the clear waters of this secluded part of the Sonoran coastline. Keep your eyes peeled for pelicans and various fish species, and perhaps even spot a sea lion colony!

Afterward, you'll have approximately six hours of free time to relax on the beach and have lunch at a local restaurant. If you wish, you can also go kayaking to discover the nearby areas at your leisure while soaking in the sunset.

Later, we will return to Hermosillo, with a scheduled arrival back at your hotel around 12 hours after we began.
