My Son Sanctuary Expedition

At the designated time, your adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel. We’ll proceed by bus towards the historic relics of the stunning My Son complex located in southern Vietnam. During the hour-long trip, we will traverse two mountain ranges to arrive at the picturesque valley that shelters this intriguing archaeological site established between the 4th and 14th centuries.

During the Champa kingdom's era, My Son Sanctuary comprised over 70 temples and a significant burial ground. Presently, several spiritual structures can be found nestled within lush greenery. As we wander through what was once the vibrant nucleus of this civilization, you will uncover details about the enigmatic Champa dynasty.

The limited knowledge we have of this kingdom comes primarily from the ruins and edifices found at this site. We will delve deep into this Hindu complex and reveal the reasons why the My Son complex has been honored as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to witness a Champa dance and folklore performance!

At noon, we will visit a restaurant in My Son where a delicious lunch featuring noodles with chicken, shrimp, or beef awaits. Following our meal, we will embark on a boat excursion along the Thu Bon River. Ultimately, after a memorable day of exploration, we will gather once more at the bus for our return journey to Hoi An.

Pickup Information

The tour encompasses pickup from hotels situated in the central area of Hoi An with road access. For those staying outside this region, please meet us at 7:45 am at the following gathering point in Hoi An: number 6 Tran Hung Dao Street (Post Office).
