Day of the Dead Celebration in Huatulco
Your journey begins with a pick-up from your accommodation in Huatulco. Prepare to immerse yourself in one of the most vibrant celebrations along the Oaxaca coast: the Xandú festival. This event pays tribute to those who have passed, celebrating their memory through music, vivacious colors, and delightful cuisine.
To kick off the festivities, we will indulge in a mezcal tasting and adorn ourselves with makeup inspired by the legendary Calavera Catrina. Armed with this preparation, you're ready to embrace the grand celebration ahead!
Next, we will proceed to the starting point for the grand Catrinas parade. Join the multitude of carnival groups, allegorical figures, and live music as they infuse the streets of Huatulco with festive energy during one of the night’s highlight moments.
