Tour Overview
We'll convene at Parque de Arena at the designated time. Here, we'll provide a brief introduction along with valuable tips to help you enjoy this complimentary bike tour in Huatulco to the fullest. Make sure your helmets are secured!
Our journey begins at the renowned Santa Cruz Chapel, a hallmark of the Huatulco Bay area. During our visit, we will delve into its rich history and significance to the local residents.
From there, we will proceed along a winding bike path that gently elevates towards Chahué Beach, where we will be rewarded with stunning vistas of the bay. This segment will include a brief pause to refresh ourselves.
The next leg of our adventure poses a bit of a challenge as we cycle toward the viewpoint of the Huatulco Letters in Tangolunda Bay. The climb will surely pay off, as we take in breathtaking panoramic views of the coastline and the hotel area.
After capturing some essential photos, we will descend towards a local mezcal palenque (distillery), where we will gain insight into the artisanal mezcal-making process unique to Oaxaca. Over the next hour and fifteen minutes, you can explore the production methods, and should you desire, sample various kinds of this exceptional spirit at your leisure.
To conclude our ride, we will meander through the tranquil residential streets of La Crucecita, gaining a unique perspective on everyday life in Huatulco.
Ultimately, we will return to Arena Park, having completed a total distance of 17 kilometers (10.56 miles) over an approximate duration of 3 hours.
