Your adventure begins with a pickup from your Huatulco hotel. First, we’ll drive to Santa María de Huatulco, a picturesque town nestled in the Sierra Madre del Sur. Here, you will uncover its fascinating history, the legends that shape this region of Oaxaca, and its evolution over the years. The tour will take you through its main streets, a historical church, the bustling old market, the town square, and the Municipal Palace.

Our journey then continues to Pluma Hidalgo. As we ascend to approximately 1,300 meters (4,265 feet) above sea level, observe the changing temperature and vegetation that define this incredible environment. Renowned for its coffee cultivation, this village offers a unique perspective on sustainable agriculture.

Upon arrival in Pluma Hidalgo, we will stop at a panoramic viewpoint before visiting a coffee farm for an engaging tasting experience. Here, you’ll gain insights into the coffee production process, including various types of coffee beans and the fertilizers that enhance growth. Explore the plantation's greenhouse, planting area, and observe the drying and roasting processes.

Afterward, you will have free time to explore downtown Pluma Hidalgo. Following your exploration, savor a traditional Oaxacan lunch.

Once lunch is over, we will return to your hotel in Huatulco, with an estimated total trip duration of 6.5 hours from the initial pickup.
