Our journey begins at 4 pm as we pick you up from your accommodation in Huatulco. Get ready to arrive at La Ventanilla beach, where the enchanting winter solstice ceremony awaits!

Upon our arrival, a guide will provide insight into the significance of the solstice celebration. In the northern hemisphere, this event signifies the transition of seasons and longer nights. However, in this Oaxacan coastal village, it heralds the symbolic start of a new cycle.

Under the guidance of a shaman, you will experience a profound ritual that highlights the ceremony's cultural significance. Additionally, on the beach, we’ll partake in the touching act of releasing a turtle into the ocean with drum beats, honoring the setting sun and welcoming the longest night of the year. This moment is sure to be unforgettable!

After approximately six hours, we will return you to your hotel in Huatulco.

We will depart early at 3:30 am from your hotel in Huatulco and make our way back to La Ventanilla beach, so let’s begin our adventure!

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with the sounds of drums and conch shells to initiate the winter solstice ceremony. We’ll gather on the beach to witness the sunrise and admire the sight of the sun illuminating the renowned Ventanilla rock.

Following the sunrise, we will engage in the ceremony led by the shaman and join in the celebration with a local children's cultural group. After the ceremony, we'll savor a delicious breakfast at a beachside restaurant before heading back to your hotel in Huatulco. We look forward to seeing you there!
