Huatulco Whale and Dolphin Watching

Join us on an exploration of the Pacific waters surrounding Huatulco, where you will have the opportunity to observe whales, dolphins, sea turtles, and a variety of marine life on this exceptional journey.

Activity Overview

At the designated time, you will be collected from your accommodation in Huatulco and transported to the Santa Cruz dock, a journey of approximately 40 minutes. Here, a vessel will await to commence our adventure, providing a unique chance to witness whales and dolphins in their natural environment.

Once we navigate into the open sea, our search for the captivating marine inhabitants of Huatulco will begin. Keep an eye out for dolphins frolicking in the waves, manta rays gliding just below the surface, seabirds soaring above, turtles, vibrant fish schools, and the awe-inspiring whales that journey along the coast of Huatulco.

This 4-hour expedition will be enriched with intriguing insights about each species encountered, as we supply you with materials for observation and identification guides to enhance your adventure. Additionally, complimentary water and soft drinks will be provided to keep you refreshed while you take in the stunning vistas.

As the excursion concludes, we will make our way back to the Santa Cruz dock before returning you to your hotel, wrapping up the activity after approximately 5 to 5.5 hours.

Dolphin & Whale Observation

The waters of Huatulco are particularly suited for observing dolphins and whales. It is important to note, however, that these magnificent creatures can be unpredictable, with sightings fluctuating based on factors such as weather conditions and the reproductive cycles of various species.

This excursion includes hotel pickup exclusively from establishments located within the Tangolunda, Santa Cruz, La Crucecita, and Playa Conejos regions. For accommodations situated outside these specified areas, an alternative meeting spot will be arranged once your booking is confirmed.
