Your adventure begins as you are collected from your hotel at a time that suits you best. Huánuco, often referred to as the city of the Knights of León, was established by commander Gómez de Alvarado y Contreras, who was sibling to the renowned conqueror Pedro de Alvarado.

As part of this experience, you will explore key sites around Huánuco, including the central square, where you will stroll amid various temples and sacred buildings like the cathedral, San Sebastian church—dedicated to shoemakers—and the historic San Cristobal and San Francisco churches from the 16th century. We will also visit the mausoleum of Daniel Alomía Robles, the celebrated composer of "El cóndor pasa," a melody that resonates globally.

The journey continues to significant landmarks, emphasizing the Calicanto bridge and the granite fountain, which boasts a history spanning over a century. Next, we will wander through the charming park of Santo Domingo, renowned for its "tree of love," and visit the residence of Leoncio Prado Gutierrez, a notable military figure from Huánuco who engaged in guerrilla warfare against Spanish forces in both Cuba and the Philippines.

The tour culminates at the monument dedicated to the "Negritos de Huanuco", an expression of local culture reflected in a popular dance associated with Christmas and Easter celebrations.
