Alpenzoo Entry Pass + Innsbruck Cable Car

This Austrian zoo has historically played an essential role in the conservation of endangered species, particularly focusing on the preservation of the Alpine ibex, bearded vulture, and northern bald ibis. Additionally, it boasts the largest freshwater aquarium globally, a habitat for bream, pike, grayling, and pearlfish, among others.

Innsbruck-Hungerburg Cable Car

In just a few minutes, the funicular connecting Innsbruck to Hungerburg will transport you directly to the Alpenzoo station. To begin your journey, simply head to Rennweg where the funicular station is located.

Timetable

• Innsbruck-Hungerburg Cable Car: Operates Monday to Friday from 7:15 am to 7:15 pm, and on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 8 am to 7:15 pm. Trains depart every 15 minutes. Disembark at the Alps Zoo stop, conveniently located between Innsbruck and Hungerburg.
• Alpenzoo: Open daily from November to March from 9 am to 5 pm, and from April to October from 9 am to 6 pm.
