Activity Details
Are you ready to kick-start your day with a dose of excitement? At the specified meeting point, located on Avenida Santiago Polanco, we'll quickly head to Alto Hospicio in just 15 minutes. Upon arrival, you'll find yourself at the take-off site for the paragliding journey, where thorough instructions on launching, navigating the skies, and landing will be provided.
Once equipped, you'll join your pilot in a tandem paraglider as you prepare for lift-off. The moment you ascend, a sense of liberation envelops you. Feel the breeze as you glide over Cerro Dragón, witnessing the striking golden dunes contrast against the azure waters of the sea. Iquique's cityscape will slowly reveal itself below, showcasing its beauty in full.
Your flight will last approximately 10 to 15 minutes, filling you with exhilaration as you take in panoramic views of Iquique's coastline and the expansive South Pacific Ocean from an aerial perspective. This will be an experience etched in your memory!
Weather permitting, we will touch down at the base of Cerro Dragón, either at Huayquique Beach or Brava Beach. Regardless of the landing spot, you're sure to enjoy the experience!
After the flight, we'll conclude our adventure at the landing area, marking a total duration of 1 hour.
Activity Requirements
To participate in this thrilling activity, it's important to note that participants must weigh between 30 kg (66 lbs) as the minimum and 130 kg (286 lbs) as the maximum.

- On the day of the activity, we recommend eating a light breakfast, without dairy
- Wear closed shoes, long trousers and a jacket. It's possible to use sunglasses that won't fall off
- Have space on your phone to download the video (between 4 and 5 GB)
