Overview of the Day Trip
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your Istanbul hotel, leading us to the city's harbor, where we’ll embark on a ferry to set off southward.
After a scenic 2-hour journey across the Sea of Marmara, we’ll reach the port of Yalova. Upon disembarking, we’ll transfer to a vehicle that will drive us for about an hour to Çumal?k?z?k. This charming village, located on the edge of Bursa, is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here, we’ll stroll through its delightful narrow lanes!
We’ll then depart from this enchanting village and embark on a guided exploration of Bursa. Our first destination will be Tophane Park, where we'll visit the tombs of Osman Gazi and Orhan Gazi, pivotal figures in the establishment of the Ottoman Empire.
Continuing our exploration, we’ll drop by the Grand Mosque (Ulu Cami), renowned for its impressive 20 domes and grand indoor fountain. You’ll also have the chance to appreciate the exquisite calligraphy that highlights this architectural gem of Islamic design.
The itinerary includes a visit to the Grand Bazaar and Koza Han, famed for silk trading. After discovering numerous shops, we’ll enjoy an authentic traditional Turkish lunch at a local restaurant.
Post-lunch, our next stop will be the cable car station to ascend to Mount Ulu Dag. At its peak, revered as the ancient Mount Olympus of the Mysia region, we’ll be treated to breathtaking panoramic views of Bursa—perfect for capturing memorable photos!
As we soak in the stunning vistas, we'll visit a local factory to witness the preparation of authentic Turkish delicacies and enjoy some delightful samples.
Finally, we will return from Bursa to your hotel in Istanbul, expecting to arrive around 13 hours after the initial pickup.
