Join us on a mouthwatering tour through Istanbul as we savor the very best of Turkish cuisine! We'll taste our way through the must-see parts of the city center.

Tour Details

Get ready to embark on a delightful culinary journey through Istanbul! We'll meet up at Kadidoy Square at the scheduled time. Together with our guide, we'll visit cafés, restaurants, and street food stalls, treating our taste buds to a wide array of Turkish delights.

Alongside our friendly guide, we'll stroll through the Kadikoy neighborhood to sip on some local drinks as we sample Aryan. Not sure what it is? You're definitely going to love this yogurt drink! Then, to contrast the sweetness, we'll sample pickle juice to experience its intense flavor.

From here, we'll continue walking along the bustling streets, where street vendors offer the most diverse recipes. The smells will undoubtedly whet our appetites, and we'll be more than ready to savor a fish sandwich, locally known as balik ekmek, or dolmas. With our appetites open, we'll indulge in a çi? köfte, a kind of red meat with a delicious pomegranate sauce—a real treat!

The route will continue with the famous islak burger, a unique kind of Turkish-style hamburger. But, don't fill up just yet! The last savory dish we'll taste will be kokorec, traditional lamb sandwiches that are finger-licking-good. We'll also try gözleme, a delicious Turkish dough stuffed with spinach and feta cheese.

For the last course, we'll wrap up our food tour with a sweet treat. We'll sample sambali, a dessert with an intense sweet taste, perfect for those with a sweet tooth!

After a delicious 2 hours, we'll say goodbye with full and happy stomachs.

Vegetarian Option

The vegetarian option includes lentil soup, börek (a savory pastry filled with cheese, spinach, or potato), zucchini pancakes with eggs and herbs called mücver, and a cold legume stew known as pilaki. You’ll also try the vegetarian version of ci? köfte, bite-sized balls made with bulgur wheat, red pepper paste, onion, spices, and herbs. Sarma will also be on the menu, made with cabbage leaves stuffed with rice and aromatic herbs, cooked with lemon or tomato sauce.

For dessert, we’ll have a semolina cake made with yogurt and syrup flavored with lemon or rose water. And to drink? We’ll enjoy tur?u, made with fermented pickle juice, perfect for aiding digestion.
