Your adventure begins with a 9 am pickup from your accommodation in Juan Dolio, where we will hop onto safari trucks ready for an exhilarating journey through the sugar cane fields of the Dominican Republic.

As we traverse the southern region of the island, the uneven terrain will lead us to the lush sugar cane fields surrounding the charming village of Benérito. While enjoying the stunning rural vistas, a stop at the weighing station will allow you to savor fresh sugar cane straight from the land.

Continuing our exploration, we will visit a nearby batey to gain insights into the local community's daily life. The next destination is the town of Higüey, where you will witness the meticulous process of Dominican cigar production at an organic tobacco factory.

Following a leisurely walk through the Higüey market, renowned for its diverse tropical fruits, we will visit the Basilica of the Virgin of Altagracia, the city’s most significant church. To recharge, enjoy a delightful typical Dominican lunch.

A thrilling highlight awaits with a boat ride on the Chavón River. Aboard a traditional vessel, you will appreciate the stunning natural scenery while spotting iguanas, exotic birds, and a variety of flora. Don’t forget your camera for unforgettable pictures!

As the tour winds down, we'll board the safari truck for our return journey to Juan Dolio, aiming to arrive back at your hotels by 5 pm.
