Excursion to Samaná

Your adventure begins at 5 am with a hotel pickup in Juan Dolio. A comfortable bus will transport you to the Las Cañitas port, allowing you to take in the stunning vistas of the Anamuya Mountains en route.

Upon arrival at the port, you will board a catamaran for a scenic voyage across the Samaná Peninsula. We expect to reach our destination by 10 am. After disembarking in the local area, your journey continues into the mountains in a safari truck. There, in the heart of the Dominican jungle, you will have the option to continue either on horseback or on foot, whichever suits your preference.

After approximately thirty minutes of horseback riding or walking, you will reach the stunning El Limón Waterfall, renowned as the most iconic waterfall in the Dominican Republic. A descent of 200 steps will take you down to the waterfall, where you are invited to immerse yourself in the natural pool. Following your refreshing swim, enjoy a hearty buffet lunch featuring local culinary delights at a nearby ranch.

Post lunch, we will proceed to Samaná to board a boat for a scenic journey to Cayo Levantado. Here, you will have an hour to indulge in the island’s beauty at your own pace. Our return trip to the Las Cañitas port is scheduled for 3:30 pm, and you’ll be back at your hotel in Juan Dolio by 6 pm.
