Day 1: Kandy - Dambulla - Sigiriya

At 8 am, your journey begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Kandy, marking the start of a remarkable two-day experience highlighting key historical destinations.

Your first stop will be at Sri Muthumari Amman, renowned as the tallest and most vibrantly decorated Hindu temple in Sri Lanka. Following this, we proceed to Dambulla to explore the esteemed Cave Temple, where a collection of 153 Buddha statues and intricate murals await you.

Concluding the day, we will visit Sigiriya, a remarkable archaeological site featuring the remnants of an ancient royal complex from Kasyapa's reign. Get ready to navigate your way past the looming lion's claws as you ascend to the summit of this majestic rock formation enveloped by lush jungle.

Day 2: Sigiriya - Polonnaruwa - Kandy

After morning pickup from your hotel in Sigiriya, we will set off toward Polonnaruwa, which served as the nation's capital for over two centuries. As we explore the ruins of this historic city, we will visit the Archaeological Museum, the Royal Palace, the audience hall, and the sacred quadrangle, allowing us to appreciate the significant heritage of Polonnaruwa.

In the late afternoon, we will transport you back to your hotel in Kandy, anticipating an arrival time of around 6 pm.
