Mount Everest Expedition

Day 1: Kathmandu

The adventure commences as we greet you at the Tribhuvan International Airport and escort you to your accommodation in Kathmandu. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace, culminating in a dinner meeting where we will outline our expedition plans.

Day 2: Kathmandu

Our second day involves a crucial briefing session to finalise the essential details of our 64-day Mount Everest expedition. You will meet the entire team, including the Sherpa leader, as we review our itinerary step by step.

Day 3: Kathmandu

Before we embark on our expedition, we dedicate a day to explore Kathmandu and its iconic landmarks. Prepare to be amazed by the Swoyombunath Stupa (the Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, and Durbar Square.

Day 4: Kathmandu - Lukla - Phakding

Get ready for an exhilarating start! Following breakfast, we will fly for approximately 30 minutes to Lukla, the gateway for many Everest expeditions.

Once we arrive, we’ll enjoy a substantial breakfast to refuel before commencing our first hike to Phakding. This journey will take us through charming villages, pristine forests, and stunning mountainous landscapes as we trace the Dudh Koshi River.

Day 5: Phakding - Namche Bazaar

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll don our backpacks and set our sights on Namche Bazaar, located about six hours away. Along the route, we will be treated to the first glimpses of Mount Everest, as well as lush forests, suspension bridges, and picturesque waterfalls.

Day 6: Namche Bazaar

Upon reaching Namche Bazaar, we’ll take a day to unwind. Known as the Sherpa capital, it serves as the key commercial hub of the Everest region. Take advantage of this time to relax and embark on short treks around the area.

Day 7: Namche Bazaar - Tengboche

With renewed vigor, we’ll trek to Tengboche, home to the highest Buddhist monastery globally. Here, we’ll spend the night, enveloped in an unparalleled sense of tranquility.

Day 8: Tengboche - Dingboche

After a nourishing breakfast, we’ll set off towards Dingboche. Expect to invest around five hours in this hike, bringing us closer to the midway point of our Everest journey.

Day 9: Dingboche

The ninth day will be dedicated to acclimatising to the altitude in Dingboche, situated nearly 17,000 feet (5,180 metres) above sea level. Additionally, we’ll embark on a relaxed two-hour hike to Mera Peak.

Day 10: Dingboche - Lobuche

After a restful day, we will head towards the Lobuche settlement. During this trek, you’ll be captivated by the stunning views of glaciers flanking our trail and the vistas from the Chola Tsho viewpoint.

Day 11: Lobuche - Gorakshep

As we proceed along the path between the Khumbu and Lobuche glaciers, we’ll arrive at the village of Gorakshep, located beside a frozen lake. Our arrival here means we are nearing the Everest Base Camp!

Day 12: Gorakshep - Everest Base Camp

At dawn, we’ll prepare to ascend, regaining our backpacks for what lies ahead.

After approximately two hours of trekking, we’ll reach our destination—the renowned Everest Base Camp!

Day 13: Everest Base Camp

This day will be spent assessing our climbing capabilities and acclimatising to the altitude. We’ll verify our supplies and ensure our equipment is in order as we prepare to conquer the highest peak in the world.

Days 14 to 57: Base Camp - Everest Summit - Base Camp

The time has come for our ascent! We’ll aim for a breathtaking height of 29,031 feet (8,848 metres), the pinnacle of Mount Everest.

Utilizing oxygen cylinders—notably during the final ascent—we’ll dedicate approximately 44 days to reaching the summit and subsequently descending. This monumental challenge is a rare achievement; we wish you all the success!

On day 57, we’ll return to Everest Base Camp, having shared this extraordinary journey for over a month.

Day 58: Everest Base Camp - Pheriche

After triumphing at the summit, we’ll dismantle our final camp and store expedition gear as we make our descent to Pheriche. Here, you’ll enjoy the comfort of a hotel for the night, with a much-deserved hot shower awaiting you.

Day 59: Pheriche - Namche Bazaar

On the 59th day of our journey, we’ll depart from Pheriche, making our way back to Namche Bazaar where the conveniences of civilization await. Enjoy amenities like internet access, bars, cafes, and shops after a month in the wilderness!

Day 60: Namche Bazaar - Lukla

Once we've replenished our energy in Namche Bazaar, the final leg of our trek in the Everest region will take us back to Lukla, where we can allow our bodies to recover.

Day 61: Lukla - Kathmandu

After breakfast, we’ll catch a flight back to Kathmandu, celebrating our achievement in conquering the most formidable mountain on the planet.

Days 62 and 63: Kathmandu

With our return to Nepal's capital, you will have two days of leisure to explore Kathmandu, relax, shop, or dine in various restaurants. The choice is all yours!

Day 64: Kathmandu

On our concluding day, we will drive you to the airport for farewells. Did you know that Nepal boasts eight of the 14 tallest peaks in the world? This unforgettable journey may inspire you to scale even more challenging summits!
