Description

Join us as we spot flamingos and snorkel in Bonaire, swimming with sea turtles and exploring vibrant reefs in the island’s stunning natural surroundings!

Activity Details

At the appointed time, we'll meet at Kaya Amsterdam to begin the experience between the sea and sky of Bonaire. After a brief introduction, we'll head to the coast, where we'll provide snorkeling equipment. We'll enter the calm, turquoise waters to discover an underwater world teeming with life, where sea turtles can stay underwater for up to 5 hours.

After an hour of snorkeling, we'll visit some secret mangroves on the island to see elegant Caribbean flamingos. Throughout the snorkeling adventure, we will also be surrounded by these wading birds.

Bonaire is one of the few places in the Caribbean where flamingos manage to reproduce in the wild. While observing them, we will discuss the importance of their conservation and their role in the island's ecosystem. Prepare your cameras!

Finally, we'll return to the meeting point in Kralendijk, concluding a total of 2.5 hours of touring.
