Samaná Private Day Trip

Embark on a private day excursion to Samaná from La Romana, where you will explore the main highlights of the northern region of the Dominican Republic, including the breathtaking El Limón waterfall and the idyllic Cayo Levantado island.
Day Trip Outline
At the arranged time, our team will pick you up from your accommodation. We will set off by bus towards the northeastern part of the Dominican Republic. After a picturesque stop in the charming town of Miches, our journey will continue to the port of Las Cañitas, where a stunning catamaran awaits our boarding!
Our sailing adventure will take us to the vibrant city of Samaná. Upon arrival, we'll hop onto a safari truck that will guide us into the heart of the peninsula, leading us to the renowned El Limón waterfall! For the final leg, you can choose between a 30-minute horse ride or a hike through the lush jungle until we reach the base of the spectacular cascades. You will then need to descend a 200-step staircase to fully appreciate the beauty of the waterfall.
After capturing a memorable photo, we’ll head to a ranch for a well-deserved buffet lunch. Following the meal, we will return by bus to the city of Samaná, where we will board a boat bound for the beautiful island of Cayo Levantado. Here, you will have an hour of free time to bask in the sun on these picturesque beaches.
Once you have enjoyed your time in this tropical paradise, we will regroup to take the boat back to Las Cañitas, a journey that will take approximately half an hour. Finally, we’ll return by bus to La Romana, completing our 12-hour adventure with a drop-off at your hotel.
