Excursion to Salina

We will convene 45 minutes prior to the scheduled time at Piazza di Marina Corta in Lipari, where a boat will be ready to set off on a memorable exploration of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Initially, we will cruise along the Lipari coastline, taking in breathtaking views of Canneto Bay and its inviting beaches, until we reach the quaint village of Acquacalda located at the northern end of the island. From this vantage point, the stunning silhouette of Salina will come into view, creating a picturesque scene.

Prior to our arrival, we will enjoy a delightful boat excursion around Salina, recognized as the second-largest island in the Aeolian archipelago. This journey will allow you to admire the Capo Faro coast, the charming village of Malfa, the dramatic cliffs lining Pollara Beach, the small fishing village of Lingua, and other breathtaking sights along the way.

After circling the island, we’ll dock in Santa Marina Salina where you will be granted two hours of free time to savor lunch and wander through the area. Relish the spectacular views of Mount Fossa delle Felci, the tallest peak in the Aeolian chain, soaring to 962 meters (3156 ft). Take advantage of this time to explore the 18th-century village church or simply lose yourself in the charming streets of the historic center.

Once the two hours have elapsed, we will reconvene at the boat and return to our original port, concluding the tour approximately 9 hours after departure.
