Scuba Diving Course in Tenerife

This Scuba Diving Course caters to those on the island who wish to delve into diving without settling for just an introductory lesson. By participating in this course, you will be on the path to earning your PADI Open Water certification.

We will gather at the dive center located in Los Abrigos at the specified time, where we will kick off the day with a theoretical lesson. Here, you will learn key concepts and essential skills integral to ensuring a safe and enjoyable diving experience.

Following the theory session, you will don your diving gear and proceed to a designated area in the ocean, where you can apply what you have learned in a practical setting. We will engage in basic underwater exercises in a tranquil environment, allowing you to take the time necessary to build your confidence.

Once you feel prepared, we will venture to another open water site for two exhilarating dives. This segment promises to be the highlight of the day, as we plunge into the water and make our descent to a maximum depth of 40 feet (12 meters). During each 40-minute dive, revel in the extraordinary experience of underwater breathing and witness the vibrant marine life that Tenerife has to offer.

Upon completing our final dive, we will make our way back to the Los Abrigos dive center, concluding this memorable experience around 8 hours after our start.

Important Information

It is advised to wait a minimum of 24 hours after the activity before flying or heading to high-altitude places, such as Teide National Park.

Important information

We'll meet at the indicated time at Calle la Ballena, 17, in Los Abrigos. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled time.

On the day of the activity you'll need to bring your own swimwear and towel.

At the end of the course, you'll obtain the PADI Open Water certification. This will allow you to dive to a depth of up to 40 feet (12 metres) when accompanied by an instructor.

Important Information

After taking part in this activity, you should wait at least 24 hours before boarding a plane or travelling to high altitude areas, such as the Teide National Park.
