Farolesa: Mazatlán's Thrilling Zipline
Description
Discover one of the most thrilling experiences in Mazatlán: glide on Forolesa, a zipline that connects the Lighthouse with the 1873 Observatory, offering breathtaking views above the Mexican Pacific!
Activity Overview
While visiting Mazatlán, you’ll want to experience one of the most exhilarating attractions on the Mexican Pacific coast. La Farolesa, recognized as the city's premier zipline, links the 1873 Observatory to the renowned Mazatlán Lighthouse.
Your adventure starts at Calzada Joel López Camarena, where we will gather before embarking on a brief hike to the summit of the Mazatlán lighthouse. Did you know it holds the title of the tallest lighthouse in North America? Get ready to capture stunning views perfect for photos!
Then comes the highlight: the zipline ride. After receiving your gear and participating in a safety briefing, it’s time to let the excitement kick in! The Farolesa spans an impressive 1,260 meters (4,134 ft) and reaches exhilarating speeds of up to 60 km/h (37 mph), transporting you over the ocean towards the other side of Mazatlán.
Your zipline journey culminates at the historic 1873 Observatory, one of the most picturesque areas of Mazatlán. Here, you’ll receive a commemorative kit that features a scarf and a Farolesa backpack.
After approximately 2 hours, our activity will wrap up at the entrance of the observatory.
