Your adventure begins with a pickup from your accommodation in Medan, followed by a two-hour drive heading southwest towards Lingga village.
On the way, we will pause briefly at Lumbini Park. Here, you will encounter a contemporary Buddhist temple, inaugurated in 2010, designed in homage to the renowned Shwedagon Pagoda of Burma. The dazzling gold leaf adornments and impressive entrance will leave you in awe!
Next, we will visit a local fruit market to experience the local flavors before continuing our journey to Lingga. In this village, you'll witness traditional structures such as the rumah rajah (king's house) and the sapo ganjang, a communal dwelling for young men.
Arriving in Berastagi around noon, you will enjoy two hours of leisure time to have lunch and explore. Options include a visit to Taman Hutan Raya Forest Park, ascending Gundaling Hill for stunning panoramas of Berastagi, or browsing one of the nearby markets featuring fresh produce.
After your free time concludes, we will regroup to return to your hotel in Medan, completing our excursion within a total duration of eight hours.

Entrance fees not included
During the tour, you will have to pay 15000IDR per person to enter Lingga village. You'll also be asked to pay an obligatory 3USD tip (minimum) per person.
