Montevideo Electric Bike Tour

On this electric bicycle tour of Montevideo, we'll cycle past the most famous spots in the capital of Uruguay, designed to be exciting.

Tour Details

We'll meet at Calle La Gaceta, 1282 for an introductory talk about using the e-bikes and recommendations for the tour. Our route starts at Montevideo Shopping, followed by visits to the Hospital Clinic and Centenario Stadium, where we will discuss its significance.

We'll continue to Municipal Velodrome and Fuente Morquio, learning about their cultural importance. We will pass by the Monumento a los Constituyentes before heading to Avenida 18 de Julio, the commercial and social hub of Montevideo.

In Plaza Independencia, we will stop at Salvo Palace and Artigas Mausoleum, the national hero's resting place. We will proceed to the Gateway of the Citadel and Peatonal Sarandí, leading us to Plaza Matrix and the Solís Theatre.

From the historical centre, we will cycle to Rambla Costanera for sea views and the Río de la Plata.

Along the way, we will see the Mercosur Building, the American Embassy, and Rodó Park, along with the Verano Theatre and the Memorial to the Holocaust of the Jewish People.

The tour will conclude in the Pocitos neighbourhood, allowing for a photo next to the Montevideo sign. After 3 hours and 25 kilometres (15.5 miles), the tour returns to the meeting point.
