Our adventure begins with a pickup from your hotel in Montevideo at the designated time, setting off towards the renowned Canelones region. The guided tour of Juanicó Winery commences with a friendly welcome from an expert oenologist. Together, we will delve into the intricate craft of winemaking in Uruguay.

As we stroll through the extensive vineyards of Juanicó, you'll learn about the storied history of this family-run winery. Detailed insights will be shared regarding the cellar, the grape harvest, and, importantly, the process of vinification. What scientific principles underlie these processes?

Then, the highlight of the tour awaits: the tasting experience featuring 4 distinct wines. This tasting will be conducted in three stages, starting with young wines and progressing to more robust, aged varieties.

Our excursion will conclude at your hotels in Montevideo after a delightful 3-hour experience.

Tour Selections

Upon booking, you have the flexibility to choose from several options:

• Tour with 4-Wine Tasting: This choice includes a tasting of wines such as Atlántico Sur Rosé, Atlántico Sur Albariño, Atlántico Sur Tannat, and Botrytis Noble. To complement the tasting, a cheese platter, fresh bread, and olive oils from the Deicas family will be provided. This tour is available starting at 9 am.
• Tour with Lunch: Opting for this option provides a delightful 3-course meal prepared by Chef Mercedes Deicas, with service beginning at 12 pm.
• Tour with Lunch and 4-Wine Tasting: This experience combines both of the previous choices, with a start time of 1 pm.
