At the arranged time, we will collect you from your hotel or Nairobi Airport to embark on a journey showcasing stunning views of the Kenyan capital and the expansive Great Rift Valley. Ready to explore the Ngong Hills on foot? Let’s get started!

As we make our way to the base of these magnificent mountains located at the edge of Nairobi, our hiking adventure will commence, captivating you right from the beginning. You will walk through lush green terrains while uncovering fascinating insights about the environment around us.

The trail will elevate us to 1961 metres (6433 feet) above sea level in the Ngong Hills, granting us the opportunity to relish some of the most magnificent picturesque views of Nairobi. Along the path, we will traverse through farmlands, broadcast towers, and wind turbines, experiencing a remarkably varied scenery!

Moreover, these hills are renowned for being a backdrop to numerous films and television series, including the acclaimed Out of Africa, featuring Meryl Streep as Karen Blixen. Interestingly, the lover of Blixen, Denys Finch Hatton, was laid to rest in this very location.

Following four hours of ascending, we'll take a well-earned break to soak in the scenery, giving you a moment to recharge before starting our descent.

Our hiking journey will conclude as we return to the starting point, after which you will be taken back to your hotel or the airport. After a fulfilling total of 8 hours, our exciting day in the Ngong Hills will reach its finale.
