Your adventure begins with a pickup from your Newcastle hotel, followed by a scenic drive lasting about an hour, leading you into the heart of Australia's picturesque wilderness. An exciting day lies ahead!

Our journey kicks off with a hike at the base of Tomaree Mountain, where we’ll tackle the invigorating ascent of its 161-meter (528-foot) peak. The stunning vistas waiting at the top make the climb worthwhile. Upon reaching the summit, we’ll pause to fully appreciate the breathtaking coastal views. We'll explore the North and South platforms, highlighting iconic sights such as Yacaaba Head, Cabbage Tree, Boondelbah Islands, and Point Stephens Lighthouse. Throughout the hike, our knowledgeable guide will provide engaging information about the nature reserves, including details on the endangered Gould's petrel bird that nests in these areas.

After approximately an hour and a half of hiking, we’ll take a moment for relaxation and enjoy some free time for lunch at a nearby restaurant. Once replenished, we’ll board a vessel for a 2.5-hour marine wildlife-watching cruise in Port Stephens. Keep your eyes open as we endeavor to spot bottle-nosed dolphins against the backdrop of the stunning coastline.

As our day winds down, we’ll visit the lookout point of the largest coastal moving dunes in the Southern Hemisphere. Be sure to have your cameras ready to capture the extraordinary and dynamic scenery!

After an exhilarating 9 hours of exploration along the coast, we will return you to your hotel, concluding this unforgettable experience.
