The experience begins with a pickup from your hotel in Oaxaca, as you embark on a journey to one of the vibrant markets in the city. Accompanied by your expert chef and mentor for the day, you will prepare dinner featuring the region's most iconic dishes.

Your class will kick off with an interactive visit to the market to identify and purchase the ingredients needed for your shopping list. Among the various offerings, you will create two of the area's most renowned dishes, which could include mole, Oaxaca soup, tortillas, or tamales.

During this time, the chef will share insights into Mexican culinary traditions, highlighting the types of ingredients available in the markets and their specific uses. Additionally, you'll have the chance to prepare typical beverages to keep you refreshed while cooking, such as margaritas or chilacayote (a soft drink made from squash, cinnamon, and cloves).

The cooking class continues as the chefs guide you through each step, teaching techniques and tricks essential for mastering these traditional dishes.
