Meet at Humboldt & C. Macedonio Alcalá at the scheduled time to kick off the street food tour of Oaxaca. This culinary adventure will lead you through the vibrant flavors, aromas, and rich traditions of this unique city.

The first stop is at the Mercado Orgánico La Cosecha, where you'll enjoy an authentic Oaxacan breakfast, accompanied by coffee, tea, and juice. Take your time to relish this opening experience of local cuisine before we continue the tour.

Next, we will visit an artisanal collective of local families to see the craftsmen at work up close. Following this cultural experience, we will take a brief stroll through the historic center to reach our next destination.

Your taste buds will be treated at a chocolate shop, where you'll sample chocolate and learn about its production process. Then, we will proceed to the Mercado 20 de Noviembre. Here, you will have the chance to try various types of moles and a delightful chocolate with bread.

We will then explore the renowned Pasillo de Humo in the Mercado 20 de Noviembre, where the grills are ready. Enjoy authentic Oaxaca meats along with drinks and sides. Vegetarian options will also be available for those who prefer them.

Following this, we will walk to the Mercado Benito Juárez to continue tasting local specialties. Here you will sample cheeses, tejate (a traditional beverage), nieves (ice creams), and the well-known chapulines (grasshoppers).

We will conclude our tasting experience at Tacos Rosy, a family establishment that honors grandmother's traditional recipes, marking the end of our street food tour of Oaxaca.
