Running of the Bulls Tour
Description
This Sanfermines tour offers a unique opportunity to delve into the rich history of this famous festival. Strolling along the route of the bull run, you will experience firsthand how the celebrations unfold in Pamplona each year from July 6 to 14.
Tour Overview
If you’ve ever been curious about the iconic running of the bulls in Spain, join us at the designated meeting point in the center of Pamplona and prepare for an exciting adventure!
We will kick off our exploration of the Sanfermines in Pamplona with a leisurely walk toward the Santo Domingo corrals, where the bulls rest before the thrilling run.
Adjacent to these corrals, you'll find the niche of San Fermin. Before embarking on the bull run, participants gather to sing a traditional prayer in front of the saint's statue: We request San Fermín, our patron, to lead us safely during the bull run with his blessings. After uncovering various intriguing details about this event, we will head back to the Plaza Consistorial to admire the stunning facade of the Pamplona City Hall, from where the renowned chupinazo ceremony takes place on July 6.
Our journey continues through Pamplona’s charming old town along Estafeta Street, which features the most notable and perilous segment of the bull run. Here, we will pinpoint the most desirable balconies that allow spectators to enjoy the event safely.
As our walk concludes at the end of Estafeta Street, we’ll have a chance to view the Plaza de Toros de Pamplona from the outside, where the race culminates. Finally, we will make our way to the Monument to the Running of the Bulls, marking the end of this enriching walking tour, which lasts approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1.5 hours.
