Tour Details
We will gather at the specified time by the statue of Charlemagne, positioned in front of the Notre-Dame de Paris. Prepare to delve into this iconic structure, situated on the Île de la Cité, renowned as a cornerstone of medieval architecture in the French capital.
Following a brief introduction, we will proceed to explore the expansive main nave and chapels in our intimate group of 5. On this journey, witness how the light filters through the stunning rosettes of Notre-Dame, admire its exquisite stained glass windows, and observe the biblical narratives captured within them.
As we navigate through the main nave and approach the High Altar, insights into the origins of Notre-Dame, which trace back to the 12th century, will be shared. Discover the impressive architectural and cultural evolution that the cathedral has experienced over the centuries, and take in the magnificent vaulting and ribs that exemplify Gothic art.

Important Info
- As this is a place of worship, bare shoulders and excessively short skirts or pants are not permitted. Cathedral security staff reserve the right to refuse entry to visitors who are not dressed appropriately.
- Under normal circumstances, waiting times at the entrance are short; however, they can be longer during religious festivals or public holidays.
- This tour is exclusively for the interior of the cathedral and does not include access to the towers.
