Description

With this entry to the Rodin Museum in Paris, you will have the opportunity to admire masterpieces such as The Thinker and The Kiss alongside other remarkable sculptures within the Hôtel Biron and its stunning gardens. It is an ideal destination for art enthusiasts.

Overview of the Rodin Museum

Situated in the enchanting District VII, near the iconic Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides, the Rodin Museum stands as one of Paris’s most frequented attractions.

Upon purchasing your entry to the Rodin Museum, you can explore this collection of works by Auguste Rodin at your leisure. The exhibition takes place within the Hôtel Biron, a grand mansion dating back to the 18th century found on rue de Varenne.

Your journey begins in the Hall Cantor, notable for its grand staircase. This hall provides access to 18 exhibit rooms, showcasing an array of clay models, plaster casts, as well as bronze and marble sculptures that highlight Rodin's artistic journey. Among the featured artworks, The Kiss and The Walking Man are particularly prominent. Additionally, there is a dedicated room showcasing pieces by Camille Claudel, an artist closely associated with Rodin.

Beyond the interiors of Hôtel Biron, the sculpture garden is a must-see. This open-air area, designed in the French style, houses the renowned sculpture The Thinker. Other significant works, including Ugolino and his sons and Orpheus, can also be appreciated here.

A map of the museum is available, detailing the locations of the primary artworks situated in both the Hôtel Biron and the sculpture garden.
