Rodin Museum Overview
Nestled in the picturesque District VII and in proximity to the Eiffel Tower and Les Invalides, the Rodin Museum stands as one of Paris’s most frequented attractions.
Your ticket grants you the liberty to leisurely explore this exhibition of artworks by Auguste Rodin housed in the Hôtel Biron, a historic mansion on rue de Varenne dating back to the 18th century.
The adventure begins in the Hall Cantor, distinguished by its grand staircase. This area provides access to 18 exhibition rooms, where you will encounter clay models, plaster casts, and bronze and marble sculptures that showcase Rodin's artistic journey. Notable pieces include the celebrated The Kiss and The Walking Man. Additionally, one room features works from Camille Claudel, an artist significantly connected to Rodin.
Beyond the indoor spaces of the Hôtel Biron, a visit to the sculpture garden is highly recommended. This French-style outdoor area is home to the iconic sculpture The Thinker and allows you to appreciate other significant artworks, including Ugolino and his sons and Orpheus.
A map detailing the locations of the museum’s masterpieces, both in the Hôtel Biron and the garden, can be accessed here.
