Embark on a journey to the Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de Las Lajas, a remarkable site of Catholic devotion situated in Colombia. This tour also includes an exciting visit to Ecuador's renowned Tulcan Cemetery.

The day begins at 10 am in the Plaza de Nariño in Pasco, where we will set off for the city of Ipiales, home to our first remarkable destination.

During the two-hour ride, we’ll delve into the captivating history of the Pasto region, exploring its rich culture and diverse geography. Before long, we'll arrive at the stunning Sanctuary of Nuestra Señora de Las Lajas, an impressive neo-Gothic edifice perched above the Guáitara River canyon.

This sanctuary is a significant pilgrimage site for many Colombians, who visit to express their reverence towards the miraculous Señora de Las Lajas. Attendees can choose to participate in the mass at the church and, afterward, explore the museum to gain deeper insights into the history of this extraordinary religious landmark.

Once our time at the sanctuary concludes, we’ll board a cable car to traverse the Guáitara canyon, providing magnificent vistas from above. Our exploration continues as we cross into Ecuador to discover the Tulcán Cemetery, celebrated for its intricate gardens adorned with sculpted bushes.

Concluding the tour, we will stop at a nearby shopping center, allowing you some leisure time before we head back to Pasto. We anticipate returning to the departure point around 8 pm.
