Chichén Itzá Small-Group Day Trip

If you're in the Riviera Maya and want to visit one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, this small-group day trip to Chichén Itzá is perfect. We'll explore the most important archaeological sites in Mexico in a group of up to 15 people.

Activity Details

At the time indicated, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Riviera Maya to start our day trip to Chichén Itzá. Let's go!

After approximately a 3-hour journey, we'll arrive at the marvellous ancient city of Chichén Itzá and we'll be the first to enter this impressive archaeological zone.

Did you know that Chichén Itzá means at the edge of the well where the Wise Men of the Water live? During the tour, we'll learn all about the history that surrounds one of the new Seven Wonders of the World.

We'll also walk to the Kukulcán pyramid, one of the largest and most impressive structures at the sight, to the Group of the Thousand Columns, a construction of beams that supported large vaults at the time.

Additionally, we'll visit the field dedicated to the sacred Mayan sport: the ball game. According to historians, this game consisted of getting a ball through the hoop that you'll see at the top of the other wall.

Finally, we'll end our tour at the meeting point between 8 and 9 hours after the start of the activity.
