Río Secreto Tour

Having picked you up from the meeting point, we'll hit the road to the Rio Secreto, 10 km north of the hotels in the Riviera Maya. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed and taken to the entrance of the natural reserve following a journey through the jungle by pickup truck.

Once at the entrance, you will be provided with the necessary material for the activity, accompanied by a professional guide who will lead you through this natural wonder where rock formations narrate the geological history of the Yucatán Peninsula.

Your 90-minute adventure along the longest subterranean river in the Yucatán Peninsula begins here: enjoy the silence of the grotto, swim in crystal clear waters, and admire 600 meters of stalactites and stalagmites.

At the end of your tour, you will be invited to a buffet filled with local delicacies and can relax in this magnificent natural environment.

Important Information

The Rio Secreto excursion is not allowed for children under 4 years old.
The maximum weight per person is restricted to 120 kg (265 lbs, 19 stone)
It is recommended not to use chemical products such as sun cream, mosquito repellent and makeup when in the underground river, as these products can hinder the conservation of the natural reserve.
