Description
At the scheduled time, we will collect you from your accommodation in the Riviera Maya for a journey to Akumal Bay. During the ride, feel free to enjoy refreshing beverages like soft drinks or water!
Upon our arrival, we will equip ourselves with snorkeling gear and prepare to encounter the turtles! Prior to entering the water, a briefing on essential safety guidelines will be conducted.
Once in the water, the adventure begins as we explore the reef and interact with the turtles inhabiting the azure waters of Akumal. Did you know that they can live for over 150 years? We’ll share insights on how to identify various species that thrive in this region. Soon enough, you'll become quite knowledgeable!
While snorkeling, we may also spot sea urchins, coral formations, and possibly even manta rays if fortune smiles upon us! Ultimately, you will have 2 hours of leisure time to bask in the sun and savor the beauty of Akumal Bay at your leisure.
Your experience will wrap up with a return transfer to your hotel, typically taking between 4 to 6 hours after pickup, depending on your accommodation's location.

Playa del Carmen: from 7:00 to 8:15 am
Playa del Carmen South: from 8:30 to 9:15 am

The tour includes pickup from hotels in Playa del Carmen. The provider will contact you to confirm the exact pickup time. Please be ready at the hotel lobby 15 minutes in advance.

Do not forget to bring a swimsuit, towel, biodegradable sunscreen, sandals, a change of clothes, and money to pay the marine wildlife conservation fee of 20USD per person.
