The adventure begins at 8 a.m. when we pick you up from your hotel to embark on the cacao tour in Puerto Plata. Get ready to discover the chocolate production in the Dominican Republic!

Our first stop will be the Hacienda Cufa, nestled within the lush forests of the region. Here, you will gain knowledge about the cultivation and harvesting of cacao directly from those who tend to the crops. Witness the cacao pods that house the beans, learn about the care given to the cacao trees, and understand the collection process.

In addition to observing the cacao journey, you'll have the chance to enjoy a chocolate facial treatment, allowing you to experience the natural benefits of cacao for your skin. After this refreshing session, we’ll move to the workshop, where you will have the opportunity to create a delicious treat that you can savor later.

Are you feeling hungry yet? Before we depart from the hacienda, a traditional Dominican lunch awaits you. Following our meal, we will proceed to Puerto Plata to visit the Amber Museum located in the city center. Here, you will witness stunning Dominican amber pieces, including unique specimens that contain fossils.

Our journey continues with a leisurely walk along the Doña Blanca promenade, affectionately known as the Pink Street (Calle Rosa), where you’ll soon discover the source of its charming name. We will also stroll through the delightful umbrella street, adding vibrancy to our exploration.

After taking in the exquisite sights, including the Cathedral, we will conclude our tour and return you to your hotel, bidding farewell at approximately 3 p.m.
