Starting between 8 and 9 am, your adventure kicks off with a pickup from your hotel. You will board an open-air tourist truck and begin your journey through the Bay of Maimon, situated along the northern coast of the Dominican Republic, to uncover the country’s rich customs and traditions.

As we traverse this scenic route, take the opportunity to admire the diverse ecosystems surrounding the Bay of Maimon, along with stunning panoramas of Puerto Plata from an elevation exceeding 330 feet (100 meters).

Next, we will visit a local Dominican family who will share insights into their customs and traditions, while offering a selection of delightful local products, including fruits, coffee, and cocoa.

After this insightful visit, we'll proceed to Playa de Guzmancito, a picturesque beach ideal for various water activities. Here, you will enjoy some leisure time, whether it’s taking a refreshing swim, going horseback riding, or trying your hand at snorkeling—the choice is yours!

If you find yourself feeling hungry, we will head to a traditional ranch for a buffet lunch. Indulge in an array of local specialties and delicious Caribbean dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds! Following lunch, we'll explore several nearby Dominican towns.

Our next destination is a tobacco plantation, where you will learn about the intricate process of crafting the renowned Dominican cigars, a significant export of the nation!

We will conclude our enriching experience by returning you to your hotel in Puerto Plata around 5 pm.
