Activity Details
Your journey begins with a hotel pickup, after which we will venture inland from Punta Cana. As we traverse areas dotted with coffee and cacao plantations, we'll share insights about the adventure ahead, along with essential tips for driving your buggy.
With engines roaring, we will embark on a thrilling adventure across muddy paths, through coffee fields, and up hills. Prepare yourself for an adrenaline-packed experience!
As we wind through narrow trails enriched by exotic scenery and quaint villages, this captivating buggy excursion will lead us to the fascinating Atabey Water Park. Here, you can cool off in a natural underground spring and interact with local farmers, who will introduce you to traditional Dominican products such as coffee, cacao, and tobacco.
At the end of our journey, we will make our way to Playa de Macao, a hidden gem away from large resorts and bustling tourist spots. This idyllic beach, famed for its pristine sand and azure waters, invites you for a refreshing swim. Enjoy the serene atmosphere as you explore the shore and take a dip in the inviting Caribbean Sea.
Concluding the adventure, we will return to your accommodation, wrapping up the 3-hour experience.
About the Buggies
Upon booking, you can select your preferred buggy type: a single-seater, a two-seater, or a vehicle shared with up to three other participants. You’ll also have the choice between two buggy models: standard or Terracross, with the latter offering enhanced durability and comfort.
Requirements for Participation
- While a driver's license is not essential, participants must be at least 18 years old to operate the buggy.
- A minimum of 2 individuals is necessary to book a double buggy, and 4 individuals must be present to reserve a 4-person buggy.
- Children between the ages of 5 and 11 may join the activity if seated in a 2- or 4-person buggy under the supervision of an adult, as they are not permitted to drive.
- For safety reasons, pregnant participants are advised against taking part in this excursion.

Important information
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Punta Cana at the indicated time.
Pickup Times
The exact pickup time at your hotel varies depending on the area and the time slot you have chosen for the buggy tour. You'll be picked up within the following time slots (please keep this information in mind when planning your day):
- If you have booked the 7:10 am tour, pickup will take place between 7 am and 8:50 am
- For those of you who have chosen the 10:10 am tour, we will pick you up between 10 am and 11:50 am
- If you have selected the 1:10 pm tour, pickup will take place between 1 pm and 2:50 pm

Additional Info
For the day of the activity, we recommend wearing old clothes. As for footwear, you can drive in flip-flops.
On the day of the tour, you'll encounter numerous street vendors at all the stops. If you do not want to buy anything they are offering, you can politely decline their offers or simply ignore them.
